I came across Cold Fire Canada purely by accident, no pun intended. Immediately I knew we had a niche that nobody else had and absolutely needed… Camp safety. We will spend plenty of money on safety harness’s, helmets for our quads, boots etc… but we totally ignore safety it seems once we’re back at camp. You spend more time in camp than in the field, so it only makes sense to have a safe camp as well.
I’ve heard some horrific stories over the years, tents, catching fire, camps burning down, atv’s and trucks catching fire and the list goes on.
Here’s one story that always stayed with me, and I’ve actually heard another similar one and it goes like this.
Two fishermen on a fly in fishing camp were cooking something on a wood stove when it caught fire, one of the men, grabbed a pail with what he thought was water, but was a pail of naptha gas that the previous group left behind after their naptha can started to leak and they poured it into the pail. Needless to say, the camp was gone, both men perished and were not found until the week was over and the outfitter flew back in to pick them up.
If a can of Cold Fire was there, the fire would have been extinguished in record time with no damage to the camp, and both men would be able to kiss their wives at the end of the week.
Do you, your loved ones and friends a favour and arm you camp and vehicles with Coldfire Canada….we did.
